As I grow older I've come to realize that this old body of mine just can't stand the heat very well anymore.  Living here in Florida doesn't help any either.  It's only April and it's starting to heat up already.  Where are those cool crisp days of winter....

Haven't done any stitching probably in the last 8 or 9 months and probably won't anymore hardly at all.  Do you remember the  boxes I sold a few years ago where I would show you what was in the box and sell them for $50.00.  Well I'm thinking of doing that again in the very near future.  I want to clean out my sewing room completely and really get it organized.  I'll keep you posted on what's going on in future posts.

I have completed some shawls to send to my SIL .....

So that's what I've been up to.  I can't close without showing you an up to date picture of Little John;.  Is this not the cutest?

His daddy's father bought him this set and it just cracks me up.  All he's missing is the cowboy hat.  LOL
I hope everyone is doing well and that all of your problems are small ones.
Blessings, Barbara

Hello sweetie , how nice to see a post from you , I did one yesterday so great minds think alike. Well have you been busy or what!!! Wonderful shawls you are very talented. I could not live where you do it would be much too hot, we are just coming into spring and the April showers have been making an appearance. It is a beautiful day today and it is the hottest day of the year apparently at 19 , just about right for me. Oh dear me Little John is so snugglesome but a bit young for a moustache lol. Take care my friend and stay cool .
Hugs to both.

Your shawls are so very, very lovely. What a blessing you are to so many people you don't even know!!
I will keep my eye out for fabrics you put up for sale. I do think you should just keep it all. You did all this once before you know. ;)

Your shawls are beautiful! What yarn did you use for the first one and the third one? I'm sorry to hear that you don't think you'll stitch any more, but I hope you'll decide to keep your stash and pick up stitching again. What a cutie Little John is!
