I've reached the point of giving up.  I have taken inventory in my sewing room and have decided that I must give up on one of my hobbies.  From the standpoint of which one takes up the most room, it is hands down Cross Stitching.  Therefore I am going to be selling all of my cross stitch inventory.  This will include patterns, fabrics and fibers.  I'm going to sell off my entire collection of Just Nan designs, The Drawn Thread, Blackbird Designs and many more that I've collected over the years.  In this economy I want to get the most I can for all of items I've collected so I will be selling all of this on Ebay and open it up to worldwide bidding.  I don't do this lightly but I've come to the point in my life where I just don't enjoy it anymore and I prefer quilting, knitting and crocheting more.  

I also have tons of smalls that I've stitched and finished and these will be sold also.  I will keep you all up to day as to when these auctions will start.

I have to share with you what my wonderful friend sent me for my birthday.  On Wednesday I received the beautiful bouquet of yellow roses and daisies.....two of my favorite flowers.  Then I received a gift certificate from one of my favorite knitting shops "Sip and Knit".  Well today I went up there and saw this beautiful hand painted yarn of merino wool, bamboo and nylon in gorgeous spring colors.  They really look like Easter Eggs after she wound the yarn into cakes.  I have a stunning shawl picked out for this yarn and to top it off, I bought a package of crystals to add to the shawl.

Help!  This is my face....thankfully without all those wrinkles....when I look in the mirror and know that I have lost my mojo.....again.   I need something to spark my interest in stitching again and I just can't figure out what.  Last year when the SAL was going on, I had lots of ideas but I haven't stitched anything since the end of the SAL.

Maybe some ideas or tell me what you're working on and maybe that will help me.

We spent a fun day at Gatorland Zoo here in Orlando and I thought I'd share some of the pics I took.  

I also have some "hams" for grandsons.  LOL

And you can't go anywhere in Florida without seeing the flamingos.

It was a long day but we all have so much fun and we topped it off with burgers and milkshakes at Steak and Shake.
