An Easter finish....

I've never made a necklace in cross stitch, but this little one from The Primitive Jewel called Bunny's Bloom caught my eye.  I stitched it on 32ct. cream Belfast linen using Weeks Dye Works.  The design came with the black wooden holder with black cording to make the necklace part and all I had to do was mount it on it.  I'm not sure if I'll keep it as a necklace or turn it into a scissor keeper.  It was fun to stitch and if you're looking for a quick gift, I highly recommend all of her designs like this.
I want to take this time to wish all my followers a very Happy Easter and may your weekend be blessed with family and friends.
Blessings as always,
Barbara

The Brown Bunny....

is all finished and just ready for Easter.  I absolutely love Carol's designs which you can find here and you won't regret purchasing and stitching them.  I have purchased several from her and have stitched most of them....not enough hours in the day for me to stitch everything I want to.  If you are interested in this one, you'll find it in my store.
Well this just about finishes up my month of traveling and my giveaway winner will be picked on the 31st.  I have purchased a slew of Blackbird Designs and La D Da designs and those are the ones I will be concentrating on in April.  I do have some others I want to get going on and I've already started a new Sweetheart Tree which will be a pincushion and scissor fob.  I've also purchased some linen and threads from Nina and I'm looking for the perfect design for them.  They are all in shades of roses so I'm thinking of a feminine design.....maybe a quaker.  We'll have to see about that one.
Well it's raining here in Orlando and we do need the rain, but what a dreary day it makes.  Vallie has decided that she doesn't like the rain one bit and that it is beneath her to get her feet wet.  Anyone know where I can purchase a pair of rubber boots for a very small dog?  Maybe in the doll section at Walmart or Target?  LOL
Blessings as always,
Barbara

Happy Easter

I think of the garden after the rain;
And hope to my heart comes singing
At morn the cherry-blooms will be white,
And the Easter bells be ringing!

Spring Has Sprung

This cutie pie from the Floss Box stitched up really fast and turned out adorable. I changed the colors to pastels that put you in mind of Easter and that sneaky little bunny we all love....although I found the chocolate eggs early.

My Easter Giveaway

I've decided to have my first giveaway being an Easter design. This sweet little "wabbit" is from Sheepish Designs. He is stitched on a 28ct. peach/pink linen using overdyed cotton floss. The approx. size is 3 x 7 inches. He would be sweet as an ornament or maybe placed in a basket.
Please leave your name and email address and I will have DH pick a name on March 13th. Good luck!
