An idea from Jenn

My daughter is very good at coming up with ideas and then most of the time, I'm left wondering how to do this and make it work.  She called me the other day to tell me about this little bag that she saw on a knitting blog somewhere and that I should try to do it.  Well it took all day for the planning, sewing and putting it all together but I'm very pleased with how it turned out.  Somehow I remembered these two pieces of fabric that I had bought about a year ago and thought this might work.  Well then I had to come up with a name and Jenn took care of that.  What you see here is a "Truffle Tuffet".
This is the outside with the tuffet closed.  It has two draw strings that pull the tuffet closed.  As you can see, the fabric is a chocolate delight.

When the tuffet is opened, it has 8 pockets to put your goodies and has a pincushion in the center.  I lined it with duponi silk and the pincushion is made of that also.

Closeup of pincushion.

And on the bottom is a label that helps the tuffet lay flat and sit better.
When this is opened, it's about 20 inches across and when closed, stands about 8 inches tall.
This was fun to make and you can find it in my store.
Blessings, Barbara
