A Question About My Giveaways...

I'm starting to get everything ready for my big Christmas giveaway and I'd like some input from my readers. I was wondering if I should do anything different....needlework wise. I love receiving knitted and crocheted items but I'm not sure if everybody else does or should I include more finished cross stitch.....or maybe go in a completely different direction and just have a giveway where you get the items to make something and the directions and it's up to you to finish it. I don't want to get stale in my giveaways and I'm looking for help here. Any suggestions would be appreciated ladies.
As always, Barbara

A finished cross stitch item is always a treasure - You could not possibly go stale with your beautiful work

It is your giveaway. That means you can give away what ever your little heart desires. Personally I love anything hand made. But then I also love stash. :)

One thing you can do in the future is keep track of how many enter each different type of giveaway. Now I have had gift certificate giveaways as well as stitched (I don't knit or crochet) items and stash.

But whatever you choose to do count me in. :)

A work of any technique is invaluable, particularly I love all the techniques, as crochet, cross stitch or pacthwork.

But you decide what you want gifts.
Each person will decide whether to be included in your drawing.

A big hug.

Your work is always lovely--no matter what you do, Barbara so I think anything you offer will be welcomed by your giveaway participants...

Sometimes I offer two different giveaways to appeal to different groups of stitchers. Nothing is going to appeal to every single person--just offer what makes you happy and chances are it will make others happy as well :)

I agree that something hand-made is always well-received, if it is a knitted or cross stitched piece. You can always have one type of giveaway (i.e. stash items or finished pieces) now and then another next time. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it will be gorgeous, I don't think your stitching could ever go stale! All the best.
