A finish and a search

First off I would like to express my thanks to everyone who has helped me complete this beautiful tribute to my parents.  Your words of encouragement helped me keep my attention on the goal and now I have this hanging in my living room to look at everyday and to remember my parents with pride and love.
Now onto a question for all of you who like a challenge.  I had this beautiful print of a Johann Baptist Hofner painting hanging where my parents tribute now hangs.  I purchased this at a yard sale because of the beautiful wooden frame it's in.  There is a price tag on the back of it for $200.00 and I paid only $20.00 - don't you just love yard sales!!!!  My challenge is this, I would love to stitch something for in this frame but haven't come across any designs that would work.  The inside dimensions are approx. 18 x 26 inches....it's large!  If any of you can think of a pattern that might work, please post it here so I can maybe get started on something.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far.  Has everyone seen the challenge over at Notforgotten Farms?  You can check it out here.  She has given you a free pattern and your challenge is to come up with a finish that is different than just your average pillow or frame.  I've printed it off and have some ideas rolling around in my head and if they don't roll away completely, I think I'll enter her challenge.
Blessings as always,
Barbara

Beautiful frame to compliment your exquisite finish, I can just feel your delight ~ squee! Don't ya love that warm and fuzzy feeling of a freshly hung favorite finish and gazing at it from across the room, over and over and over:) Dunno what to suggest for that wood frame, it's very pretty~being so big the first thing that popped into my pea brain was a mirror, silly me.

Your finished project is just beautiful!! What a wonderful tribute to your parents.I think it is that oval shaped frame that is making tings a bit difficult. So far, no great ideas!

It has become a fantastic looking and such a nice tribute! Well done! For the frame, I think you must create an pattern yourself, nut maybe you can make a Mille Letters in it. Yust start in the middle with a beautiful B and then fill the whole frame with B's, all different! You will have a fantastic Mille Lettres at the end!
Greetings
Lida

I think the fancy Imblum Angel of Healing, Hope, or Love could be stitched to fit that oval. It's a magnificent frame as is your finished Roses.

Love your finish and the new frame! What about Dance of the Roses by L&L, or one of her other ladies? I think they would look wonderful in that frame!!
