My Fallen Roses is finished!!! I was able to put the last stitches in it this morning and I only laid the frame on it so you can get an idea of how it will look. I've taken it to the framer for mounting and when it's safely hanging on my wall, I'll take another picture of it. We have a brick wall in our living room and it will be there hanging over the mantle. I can't say I loved stitching this but the reason I stitched it was filled with love. For those of you who are new to my blog, this was stitched in honor of my parents....Lottie Margaret Reinecker and Ray Andrew Heller and the date is the day they were married.
Now unto something different and hopefully without blue in it. If I never see 3750 again, I'll be more than happy.
Blessings as always,
Barbara
My sweet friend Thellie just sent me this very cute picture. I do believe that Vallie has been leading a double life. LOL I think it's time I sat her down and had a little talk with her....but it just might be too late....sadly.

Oh drats, and I was just packaging up 200 skeins of 3750 for ya lol! You really worked this up quickly, gorgeous beautiful colors-a stunning tribute and treasure. Can't wait to see it up and hanging:)
Wow so pretty..well done xxx
Well worth all that 3750! It's a beautiful tribute. As for Vallie, you have to admit she does look cute in her hopefully-by-now-former profession!
I am so impressed with your beautiful finish in honor of your parents. I know how hard this piece was for you to stitch sometimes. What a wonderful tribute to them. :0)
As for Miss Vallie-girl. Does she give lessons? LMBO
Love ya,
Thellie
Congrats on such a beautiful finish. I;m sure it will be treasured by many generations to come.

I absolutely LOVE your finish!!! It is just gorgeous and I can't wait to see it when the framer gets done with it.
Hugs!!!
Beautiful finish!! As for poor Vallie, perhaps she can help pay for your stash! ;)
Congratulations on finishing Fallen Roses. It is beautiful! That dog picture cracked me up...too funny, LOL.
A lovely finish and tribute to your parents!
What a lovely honor - best of all, it's finished!
I agree - it IS a sickness! By the way, there's a Correction page at JCS for the missing chart in the Halloween issue here: http://www.just-crossstitch.com/Corrections.aspx
Oh, what a truly lovely piece, Barbara! DMC 3750 is my favorite color, but after all of those blue stitches, even I might not feel like stitching with it right away :)
Gorgeous finish
