Breast Cancer Awareness Giveaway

As we all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I wanted to do something that would bring this to everyone's attention who reads my blog. Take time this month to have a mammogram and take a friend with you and help each other.
This giveaway is filled with just about everything you need to pamper yourself or maybe someone in your family or a friend is going thru this right now, and this might cheer them up....whatever the reason, please add your name to this post and at the same time, pledge to have a mammogram soon.

The picture above shows everything that is included in this giveaway. I have broken them down and described them below.
Above you will see a handmade bath puff, a hand washcloth in the shape of an angel and 3 wonderful smelling bars of Rosewater and Jasmine soaps.

Above are handmade slippers in the most softest, fluffiest yarn you can imagine. A microwaveable compress for that ache we always end up with. A pair of pink and white socks and last but not least, is a Breast Cancer Awareness bracelet.
There will also be a surprise included but that you won't find out about until the winner receives the package. So please enter your name to this post and prepare to pamper yourself in just a few weeks. This giveaway will end on October 15th when I pick the winner.
As always, Barbara

What a great idea to promote breast cancer awareness. I had my mammogram several months ago - and a follow-up ultrasound to identify some lumps. Nothing to worry about, thank goodness.

What lovely work you do. The items in this giveaway are beautiful and would make a perfect gift, such as my friend who is dealing with breast cancer right now. I'm booked for my annual breast MRI on Oct. 8 and my annual mammo is in March. Hopefully we'll have answers to this dreaded disease one day.

Mammograms are so very important and I thank you for your encouragement for everyone to get theirs. As a long time OR Nurse I have seen the effects of breast cancer gone undetected for too long. Thank you Barbara, for doing this. I would love to win your giveaway.

I would love to enter your giveaway. I found your blog through another blog. This giveaway is dear to my heart. My Mother died from breast cancer over 38 years ago. They have come along way. I have been having mammograms since my late 20's. I will have my mammogram next month. Thanks for the chance. Pat

Beautiful & thoughtful giveaway - and what a wonderful gesture. It's sad to see how many of us know someone fighting cancer, currently I know two - one passed away several years ago. I would love to be entered in your contest and the gift would go to my local friend w/ cancer. With so much response you could have sold raffle tickets to this event & donated the money to BC reasearch Barbara - you have a kind heart.
