You've probably noticed by now that I've changed my blog background again. I did this to help get me into the Thanksgiving, Winter and Christmas spirit. It's really hard to do down here when the temps are in the 80's. I added the falling snow only because this is the only snow I will see this year so I figured fake is better than nothing.
I have finished The Weaver Sampler and I thought I'd share a picture and the packs of mini charms I am going to use to make a simple quilt and add my cross stitched sampler that honors my aunt who was a great quilter.
I love how this turned out and will be doing the quilting this weekend. I'm not sure if I want to make a bellpull or a wall hanging.....will decide once I start sewing.
I've also started a Thanksgiving Quaker design by Bent Creek that I've always loved but never got around to it. I figured now is a good time. This is what it will look like when finished.....
This will be made into a pillow.....I just don't know what kind.
Well I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and you're able to enjoy time with family and friends.
Blessings, Barbara

Your quilting project will be beautiful, such a lovely way to honor your aunt. I've always lived that Thanksgiving design; I'd probably better purchase the pattern before it becomes OOP!
Oops. I'm sure it's obvious, but I've always loved that pattern, lol.
That is a lovely finish Barbara!
Congratulations on getting The Weaver Sampler finished, Barbara! It looks fabulous. I look forward to seeing it again in its finished form. I look forward to seeing your Bent Creek piece come to life with your needle and thread. It is one of my favorites; one day, it will get stitched.
A lovely finish, and I can't wait to see the quilting with it
Such beautiful designs Barbara. What a lovely tribute to your aunt.

The Weaver is pretty, can't wait to see how you quilt it.
