I love the Lizzie Kate jar, the alphabet knocker, and am impressed with your finishing skills. Your bloglist has directed me to a new group of stitchers and I need an afternoon to check everything out further. Regarding your question about using one floss color, why not stitch one motif and see what it looks like. I can see this on a light ground and a very rich thread. But that's just me, and I'm a little off anyway. Again, thrilled to find your blog!marlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05252451302831115791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7178132599848547792.post-6523558597659050502011-07-18T04:14:15.992-04:002011-07-18T04:14:15.992-04:00I joined an RR for the Emblem of Love sampler. Mine was blue but I so wished I had gone with the colour version as the finished pieces were gorgeous.
http://quakerfriendship2008.blogspot.com/
The colours on Martina's SAL pice are wonderful but I think maybe more pastel shades would work better. I look forward to seeing your choice.Carol Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10444503481095836578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7178132599848547792.post-78996923257984961712011-07-18T02:33:44.325-04:002011-07-18T02:33:44.325-04:00Barbara... I am doing a piece by Pelin Tezer and am using one main colour with a highlight here and there and it is turning out well.

I try to wing it with mistakes if I am keeping the piece but can't bring myself to throw away linen. Don't have a LNS near so shop via the internet.
