Afternoon here in Florida and I was in the mood to start a new design. I picked one of Nora Corbett's witches....Ana....and I'm loving her. I'm only having one problem though. It's been so long since I stitched a design that calls for quarter stitches that it's messing me up bad. I feel like an idiot while doing them and I don't think I screwed up that badly. Here is what she looks like so far...
. It's 28ct. Gingerbread and I'm in love with it.
Then here is the black sheep to match the white one:
I'm not ready yet to make these into pillows because I have to find a fabric that will look good with both striped fabrics. I'm really thinking about a plaid but not sure. When I see it, I'll know it. I'm open to suggestions!
Have a Blessed week, Barbara
The fabric for Ana is PERFECT. The stitching pops. Can't wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteLove that witch pattern. I want to stitch that one too. :)
ReplyDeleteNever saw that color linen - looks really nice. Perfect for Anna.
ReplyDeleteBOY! i'm in love with that witch! Looking great!!
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous linen Barbara.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure about plaid for the sheep. You will know when you find it! ;)
The witch looks so great on the ginger fabric. You'll adjust to the 1/4 stitches again I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteJust love the sheep on those stripes. Such a different look.
What a gorgeous color linen you are stitching Ana on! And the black sheep looks fabulous on your striped fabric.

You chose the perfect color of linen for your latest piece, Barbara! I can see why it might be a bit confusing to stitch on, though. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteYour Ana looks great on that gorgeous gingerbread fabric! For your sheep I would go for a pretty small floral pattern, as I like flowers and stripes together. I'm sure you will find something perfect.
