2015 Finishes

My new Christmas pillow

I decided to finish my C Mon Monde SAL into a pillow and I love how it turned out.  My first try was a square pillow with a flange but I just didn't like the look of it, so I went back to my old standby.  The under pillow is red velveteen and the backing of the sleeve is a red plaid.  With the organza ribbons for ties and the white eyelet lace, I'm all ready to celebrate the season.

Everyone have a wonderful Sunday.
Blessings as always,
Barbara

  7. That is such a gorgeous cushion finish, I love it! I like the beaded angel too.
I'm also giggling that you used the word "flange" in a stitching blog. I'm sorry but it's a funny word and one I associate with engineering! Strange how some words are just intrinsically funny...

  17. That is a beautiful pick! The organza ribbon made your pillow look more gorgeous, and the angel made of pearls is absolutely charming! That would look perfect for when the Holidays come along and the snow starts falling again.
